CRITICAL DIMENSION ANALYSIS:
Utilizing one shot (all cavities) 100B of both dimensions and specified attributes against engineering drawings. All data is reported in inches by cavity. Data are presented in significant digit format which includes averages, minimums, maximums, population standard deviation and data range. Reports are laser printed and bound in a sleeved report binder.SHORT RUN PROCESS CAPABILITY ANALYSIS:
Using a minimum four hour mold trial yielding a stable process, 25 shots representing the entire short run are collected and measured for statistical capability. Each defined “critical” dimension is measured against the engineering drawing and charted on an X-Bar & R-Chart in the order they were produced. This data can be presented in two different formats:
1] Plotted points represent the average and range of the shot measured.
2] Two reports generated; one representing shot data, another isolating cavity.
EXTENDED RUN PROCESS CAPABILITY ANALYSIS:
Same format as Short Run with the following exceptions:
1] Yielded parts originate from three control runs / lots,
2] Each run / lot would have measurements segregated,
3] Total molding sample run would exceed 12 hours unless otherwisespecified.
STATISTICAL GRAPHS AND CHARTS AVAZLABLE:
IX & Moving Range charts, X-Bar L R-Charts, Moving Averages & Moving Range charts, Median & Range charts, X-Bar & Standard Deviation charts, and histograms (which include the following statistics: short term SD, long term SD, variance, skewness, kurtosis, goodness of fit data auch as Chi-squared, coefficient of robustness, coefficient of variation, Z USL, Z target, Z LSL, expected out of spec %, Cp, Cr, Cpm, Cpr, Cpk, Cpu, Cpl, Pp, Pr, Ppm, Ppk, Ppu, PpZ average SD, SD, d.f., Chi-Sq. probability, fit to curve, analysis ofvariance, F-Ratios and probability of F.
DESIGN OF EXPERIMENT:
Working with our engineering department we are capable of employing full factorial DOE in targeting problem solutions for injection molding, sonic welding and other various assembly operations.
